Professor - Drama provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Drama typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Job Title: Drama Coach
Reports to: Athletic Director and/or Principal depending on coach
Job Goal: To provide leadership, supervision, and organization of a specific activity, and to carry out the objectives of the total activities program. To instruct students in fundamental skills and strategies necessary for them to realize individual and team success. At the same time, the student shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, and self-confidence.
Terms of Employment: Compensation and duration of coaching season to be established by the Board.
