POSITION SUMMARY
The College of Business at Dillard University seeks to fill a tenure-track position in economics to begin August 2021. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate an active research portfolio and to teach undergraduate courses in the area of economics. Applicants with a demonstrated ability and experience in community engagement and experiential learning; as well as applicants with experience and a passion for teaching undergraduates in a small liberal arts environment will be given preference. Additional responsibilities will include advising undergraduate students, committee service, and contributions to the university's interdisciplinary general education program. The College of Business is accredited by ACBSP and provides a collegial academic environment with a strong focus on teaching, service and community involvement.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Doctoral degree in Economics or related field from an accredited school; ABD’s will be considered, but must finish the Ph.D. by May 31, 2022. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications.
