Assoc. Professor - Law jobs in Taunton, MA

We are a boutique law firm specializing in Family Law: Divorces; Child Custody; Modifications as well as Guardianships. We also handle Appeals.

If you would like to make a difference and improve the lives of your clients. We are seeking one motivated Attorney with at least two years experience in family law.

Your duties will include:

1. Legal drafting of correspondence, subpoenas, orders, discovery and motions
2. Preparing for and attending court appearances
3. Client meetings and phone conferences
4. Negotiating directly with clients and opposing counsel
5. All aspects of case management

You must

1. Be a Member of the Massachusetts Bar in good standing
2. Be happy and love your work as an attorney. Positivity is Contagious!
3. Have solid litigation and/or family law experience.
4. Possess strong research and writing skills
5. Be career focused and ambitious
6. Be an exceptionally organized person: able to handle documents efficiently, scanning, converting to PDF’s, printing and sharing via online storage systems
7. Be compassionate and sincerely interested in people.
8. Be able to handle the stress associated with work where the stakes are high for our clients
9. Be committed to excellence in all that you do
10. Spanish/English bilingual is a plus but not required

Compensation is based upon experience, ranging from $100,000-$200,000
