Professor - Liberal Arts provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. POSITION SUMMARY: Actual title is "Educational Services Specialist". Under the direction of the Deans of Professional Programs and Liberal Arts, the Educational Services Specialist is the primary administrative support to these and other administrative personnel within the offices at the Quincy campus. The Educational Services Specialist also serves as the primary administrative contact with Adjunct Instructors, assists with the oversight of special course sessions, manages and organizes processes related to the hiring of Adjunct Instructors, textbook selection, and budget development, and works collaboratively with the Deans of Professional Programs and Liberal Arts in the daily operational management of academic programs.
