Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Assoc. Professor - Psychology typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and conducts research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. We invite applicants from all subdisciplines of psychology, however, we are particularly interested in applicants who can teach in one of our three undergraduate research methods and statistics courses. The successful applicant’s responsibilities will include teaching and advising undergraduate students, supervising student research, and participating in the life and culture of the department. Candidates must have a minimum of a Master of Arts or Master of Science degree (Ph.D. preferred) and show evidence of excellence in teaching and research.
