Rutgers University School of Social Work (RUSSW) invites applications for a one-year visiting professor at rank of Associate or Full. This position will commence on or after September 1, 2024. A Ph.D. in social work is required. This position may be of particular interest to those on sabbatical or other professional leaves from academic positions. Remuneration may be organized in several ways, (e.g., a part-time position, individual honoraria, and other options that connect with the sending institution’s sabbatical or professional leave requirements). Virtual, in-person, and hybrid options are potentially available. RUSSW seeks a productive scholar whose research focuses on social and racial justice. We are especially interested in a candidate that is willing to collaborate with tenure track and non-tenure track faculty on publications related to social and racial justice, conduct seminars on social and justice issues for our many constituencies (Faculty, BASW, MSW, DSW, Ph.D. students, Alumni, and staff).
