Associate Dean of Continuing Education assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of continuing education. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Continuing Education provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Continuing Education typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Continuing Education typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     About Our Team: The Continuing Education (CE) team of 7 is on the verge of several innovations to better serve our clients and each other. The CE Coordinator will have the opportunity to be trained by a long-standing staff while also contributing to the development of new resources and procedures. As a team member, the CE Coordinator will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our ability to process continuing education credits for insurance and financial industry clients.

    Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate insurance company clients, assisting with continuing education administrative-related issues
    • Proactively touch base with each client every month to ensure consistent communication
    • Train new instructors on expectations and responsibilities
    • Submit Instructor and Course Applications for your clients
    • Enter client service fees in the expense tracking system
    • Maintain records of course and instructor approvals
    • Maintain training materials covering all Client Coordinator responsibilities
    • Support all additional miscellaneous assignments and projects necessary for the success of the CE Team
    Qualifications:
    • A bachelor's degree or industry certificate or at least 2 years of relevant work experience
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to manage internal and external relationships
    • Preferable experience in Google Workspace and Salesforce
    • Extensive skills in critical thinking, attention to detail, and self-led time management
    • Ability to be adaptable in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficient computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets
