New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 22, 2021
Experience:
District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 15 years.
Work Schedule:
197 Contracted Work Days

Salary: The minimum starting pay is $39,384*/year and the maximum salary is $62,988*/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant administrative experience (the maximum credit granted is 15 years).
- Salary reflects 2021-2022 pay schedule and is subject to change.
- Salary will include 15% differential
Interviews are site-based and not conducted by the Human Resources office.

Qualifications and Expectations:
- Bachelor’s degree plus additional coursework required for certification or licensure.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education and/or Early Childhood Special Education or related areas with state license as a teacher ages 0-5 Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education.
- Colorado Deptarment of Education Teacher License
- Endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education required
- Administrator’s License required
Additional Qualifications Preferred:
- Experience in programming for regular Early Childhood and Early Childhood SpecialEducation preferred.
