Associate Dean of Graduate Programs assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of a graduate program. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising.     • Exceptional organizational skills, problem-solving, proficiency in teamwork, collaboration, flexibility, and strong communication to multiple audiences.
    • Capacity to foster strong and effective relationships with students, faculty, staff, families, and campus partners.
    • Solid foundation in student developmental theory and its application to professional practice in student affairs.
    • Commitment to DEI work in higher education.
    • Experience with on-call responsibilities and student crisis management.
    • Master’s Degree with 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in undergraduate academic support services, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Professional experience in Student Affairs strongly preferred.
    • Experience working in the context of a highly selective liberal arts institution

    • Oversees recruitment, hiring, training, management and evaluation of the upper-level dean team (i.e., undergraduate deans for the sophomore, junior, and senior classes)
    • Provides day-to-day support and guidance for the upper-level dean team consistent with Undergraduate Deans Office policies and practices
    • Works with the Office Manager to develop and maintain office schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
