Associate Dean of Nursing assists Dean with the management of administrative functions of the college of nursing. Collaborates with Dean on planning college strategic initiatives and supports on college fundraising. Being an Associate Dean of Nursing provides administrative leadership in areas of curriculum development, institutional assessment and improvement, human resource, faculty development and performance appraisals, budget and finance, and facilities planning and management. Typically requires an advanced degree. Additionally, Associate Dean of Nursing typically reports to a Dean. The Associate Dean of Nursing manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Associate Dean of Nursing typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Dean of Operations will be responsible for implementing and overseeing systems and procedures. They will be responsible for the school’s programming, hiring and onboarding new staff, developing and leading in-service professional development trainings, and oversight of students daily data collection. The Dean of Operations will supervise milieu staff and the Milieu Coordinator. The Bay Cove Dean of Operations will be an integral member of the Bay Cove Academy School Leadership team that works collaboratively together. This group of team leaders are responsible for professional development, curriculum oversight, policy implementation, technology advancement, promoting inclusivity and diversity to implement best practices and apply research to lead the school. Requirements: Advanced degree in psychology, education, social work, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Knowledgeable of the needs of the population served; understanding of the range of interventions and treatment required by this population. Experience in Performance Improvement concepts preferred.
