Associate Pastor assists the pastor in religious services and managing daily operations of an organization. Leads and implements outreach and educational programs and events that will maintain and grow membership. Being an Associate Pastor provides clerical support such as researching, selecting, and documenting passages or prayers to assist the pastor in planning and leading worship. Assists with administrative duties including managing calendars and schedules, preparing materials or educational documents, and communicating with volunteers. Additionally, Associate Pastor performs religious services and leads prayer. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a pastor. The Associate Pastor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Summary
The COOL Kid’s Pastor will provide leadership to the various volunteers and ministry teams within the following age groups: Birth to 6th Grade. He/she will carry out the church's mission and vision, being strategically minded, administratively skilled, and intentional with recruiting and development of teams within the scope of the next generation of Jesus followers. The COOL Kid’s will also possess a pastoral heart, be full of energy, and continually finding ways to impact our children and their families for Jesus.
