Associate Pastor assists the pastor in religious services and managing daily operations of an organization. Leads and implements outreach and educational programs and events that will maintain and grow membership. Being an Associate Pastor provides clerical support such as researching, selecting, and documenting passages or prayers to assist the pastor in planning and leading worship. Assists with administrative duties including managing calendars and schedules, preparing materials or educational documents, and communicating with volunteers. Additionally, Associate Pastor performs religious services and leads prayer. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a pastor. The Associate Pastor occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. New Day, a nondenominational, theologically contemporary church is seeking a pastor to lead us into the future. We are a multi-generational congregation of approximately 100 with a desire to grow in membership and in the experience and understanding of God. We are inclusive and nurturing of all people. Our current pastor is retiring. We are located near the Sioux Falls, SD metropolitan area which consists of approximately 300,000 people and growing.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,178.00 per year
