Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Drama provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Drama typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Summary:
The School District of Borough of Morrisville is seeking a candidate to fill a Drama Director Extracurricular position for the 2023-2024 school year. This position is not associated with a Professional Teaching position.
Experience/Skills:- Previous experience would be beneficial.
- Applicant must be innovative, progressive and capable of working collaboratively with students of all ages, faculty, parents, and administrators.
Clearances and other requirements:
If you are an external candidate and you are offered a position with the School District of Borough of Morrisville, please be advised that the following clearances will be required before you are able to begin working:
- PA State Police Clearance (Act 33)
- Child Abuse Clearance (Act 151)
- FBI Fingerprints (Act 114) IndentoGo
Background employment clearances and the following additional paperwok must be completed within the last year to be valid: Arrest/Conviction Report (Act 24), PA Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure (Act 168), and School Health Record which includes physical (within a year) and TB test (within 3 months).
Salary:Per terms of Collective Bargaining Agreement between Morrisville Board of School Directors and Morrisville Education Association.
