    POSITION DESCRIPTION

    Medicus Economics is seeking highly skilled and motivated full-time Associates to work on health economics modeling projects in Boston, MA or Philadelphia, PA.

    Prerequisites include:

    • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, ideally including MS Visual Basic for Applications
    • Hands-on experience developing decision-analytic models (such as budget impact models and cost-effectiveness models)
    • Experience synthesizing and communicating research findings in documents and slide decks
    • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively (with teams typically 2-5 people in size)
    • The ability to work on multiple complex assignments simultaneously
    • Sustained attention to detail
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Ideal candidates will have:

    • Advanced academic training in decision modeling
    • Relevant, paid employment in a healthcare consulting or research environment
    • Experience co-authoring deliverables for submission to academic conferences and peer-reviewed journals

    Duties will involve contributing to all phases of project development, execution, and delivery, including:

    • Designing and implementing technically complex decision-analytic models
    • Authoring client deliverables, including proposals, presentations, project reports, abstracts, and manuscripts
    • Engaging with clients via both written and oral communication
    • Coordinating project workflow across multiple team members
    • Cultivating and developing client relationships
