Professor - Mathematics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Mathematics typically reports to a department head. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
The Baylor Mathematics Department is seeking an organized, collaborative candidate for the Office Manager position. The Office Manager will directly support the Department Chair and supervise the Administrative Associate and Student Workers. In addition, this position will work with the Graduate Program Director on matters related to the graduate students and graduate program and will maintain the Mathematics Department’s external communications.
This position is also responsible for coordinating travel (as needed for faculty, graduate students, visitors, and candidates interviewing for faculty positions), event planning, and submitting hiring paperwork for temporary lecturers, among other things.
A high school diploma, three years of relevant experience, and an active Christian Faith are required. A bachelor’s degree, five years of relevant experience, and an active Christian Faith are preferred.
