This individual will be an excellent fabricator, have a high mechanical aptitude and be skilled with a variety of hand and power tools. We prefer someone who sees themselves as a team player with a positive “do-it-yourself” attitude.
Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and production in support of engineering efforts daily
- Janitorial support, machine shop maintenance and grounds keeping
- Maintaining a clean and well organized work environment
- Assisting with wiring, soldering, crimping pins, installing connectors (AC and DC)
- Occasionally assisting with testing, data collection and troubleshooting
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Electrical experience (wiring, terminals, connectors, harnesses)
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, machine tools, sheet metal tools
- Self-starter, ability to work autonomously with ambiguous work instructions
- Positive attitude, team player
