POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Physical Therapist Assistant is a qualified professional who, under the general supervision from the Home Health Physical Therapist, provides direct patient care as prescribed by the referring physician.
Administers care plans developed by the physical therapist. Observes response to treatment, documents and adjusts treatment for the quality provisions of care.
Suggests areas of departmental and personal improvements related to therapy area. Attains required and procedural competencies.
