Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Sociology typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Job Summary/Basic FunctionPart-time adjunct instructor of sociology. To teach one or two courses per semester as needed.
**This is a pooled position. Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available. After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required QualificationsMaster’s degree in Sociology or closely related field.
Must be Utah resident.
Preferred QualificationsTeaching experience preferred.
Ph.D. in sociology preferred.
