As an Assistant Athletic Trainer, you will provide athletic training needs forassigned teams as well as coordinate care with the head athletic trainer,sports medicine physicians, and assist with the inventory of athletic trainingsupplies.
Under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer, you willassist and supervise the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation ofstudent-athlete injuries to maintain maximum physical fitness for participatingin athletic competitions.
The workschedule will include evening and weekend work and some team travel as neededin support of assigned athletic varsity sports and events.
Rose-Hulman willfinancially assist with continued education credits that maintain athletictraining certification and licensing.
In addition to, the candidate must beNational Board Certified and Indiana licensure eligible.
Qualified candidates will hold a bachelor's degree inathletic training and two to three years of related work experience isrequired.
Minimal fiscal management, time management, organizational, andprogram coordination skills are necessary. Computer literacy is required,specifically in spreadsheets.
Must be able to work and meet timelines withminimal supervision. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communicationskills are essential;
Must be able toexercise diplomacy in all facets of the position.
Preferred candidates will have a master's degree inathletic training or related field and two to three years of related workexperience.
