Athletic Trainer jobs in New Hampshire

Athletic Trainer treats and prevents athletic injuries by developing therapies to reduce pain and improve mobility under the direction of a physician. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing. Being an Athletic Trainer may require state license to practice. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in exercise science, sports science or equivalent. Additionally, Athletic Trainer typically requires certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Athletic Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Summary of Position
    The Athletic Department at Keene State College is seeking applications for Athletic Trainer’s to provide athletics healthcare services for all varsity level student-athletes, in close cooperation with Head Athletic Trainer, Athletic Training Staff, Team Physicians and Health Services. These are 83%-time benefited positions, full-time during the appointment dates from late-July to late-May each year.

    Working under the direction of the Head Athletic Trainer the successful candidates will join a highly skilled team of professionals to assist in the overall service component to Athletics that includes: prevention, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation & reconditioning, organization & administration, and professional responsibility.

    Salary Information
    Salary is commensurate with experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical, dental, retirement, tuition, and paid time off. This position is part of the Keene State College Staff Association (KSCSA).
