    Camp Site Location: 10049 NE 195th St. Bothell, WA 98011

    OTA Summer Kids Camp is a traditional day camp focusing on giving families a fun, organized, and affordable all day care camp experience. Camp includes sports, games, arts and crafts, projects, water games, movie time, video game visits, and more! Our mission is to provide the highest quality of youth summer programming focusing on safety, fun and affordability for families.

    Position Summary:

    Camp Director leads and directs the supervision of campers aged 5-12 and camp counselor staff in all daily activities and operations. Manages customer service needs with campers & parents, creates & plans daily camp activity agenda and oversees to ensure a quality camp experience. Demonstrates Overtime Athletics’ commitment to its core values of respect, responsibility, and caring in all actions to serve as a role model.

    2024 Summer Camp Weeks:

    1. June 17th – June 21st

    2. July 1st – July 5th (no camp July 4th)

    3. July 15th – July 19th

    4. July 22nd – July 26th

    5. July 29th – Aug 2nd

    6. Aug 5th – Aug 9th

    7. Aug 12th - Aug 16th

    Camp Hours: 9am-4:30pm

    *Camp Director opens & closes camp each day. Paid from 8:45am-4:45pm. Can leave once every camper is picked up and camp site is cleaned up. 40 hours paid per week.

    Essential Job Functions & Working Conditions:

    · Physically onsite as Camp Administrator overseeing a camp site of 25-50 campers & 2-6 counselors per week.

    · Manage camp rosters and attendance on a weekly and daily basis.

    · Coordinate, lead and manage camp counselor staff in all aspects: reviewing and communicating daily camp activity agendas, assigning camp groups, assisting staff throughout camp day with any camper behavior issues, and overseeing all staff’s ability to handle or supervise campers. Handling all Quality Control.

    · Participating in rigorous, high energy athletic coaching, daycare camp activities indoors and outdoors during summer heat.

    · Listen and solve parent and camper issues.

    · Implement Overtime Athletics Summer Camp Curriculum and create daily/weekly agendas.

    · Physically leading camp activity segments, games or special segments for groups or entire camp audience.

    · Manage camp equipment and storage unit.

    Job Requirements:

    · Strong classroom management skills for elementary aged kids.

    · Ability to handle camper behavior issues and have conversations with parents.

    · Highly energetic leader.

    · Punctual (On Time).

    · Strong communication skills with adults and children.

    · Ability to create and execute a plan.

    · Ability to delegate and communicate camp agenda activities, games & segments to camp counselors.

    · Athletically inclined or know general sports game play rules.

    · Must attend & complete mandatory camp training (unpaid).

    Required Experience:

    · 2 years’ experience of childcare or supervising elementary school aged children.

    · 1 years’ experience performing and leading after school care, PE activities, summer camp or similar activities in a youth program setting.

    · Experience supervising others.

    · CPR & First Aid Certified or willing to complete prior to working.

    Position Pay:

    $22-25 per hour

    Job Type: Temporary

    Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift

    Experience:

    • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
    • Classroom management: 1 year (Preferred)

    License/Certification:

    • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
