Audio Visual Technician jobs in New Bedford, MA

We are a small privately owned company that's been in business for almost 50 years. We wire, install and service residential and commercial security and fire alarms, surveillance systems, access control systems, WiFi networks, audio/video equipment for home theaters including TVs and Sonos sound systems, Lutron shades and lighting controls, home automation devices and other systems supported by low voltage wiring.

What our technicians do:

• Wire, install, program and service low voltage systems
• Troubleshoot equipment and/or wiring
• Replace or repair equipment as needed to restore systems to working order
• Follow blueprints, manuals, fire alarm and electrical codes
• Create detailed digital work logs of each job and/or service call

What we are looking for in a qualified candidate:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in Security/Fire Alarm/CCTV/AV and/or other Low Voltage Cabling Installations (Exceptions are made based on the individual.)
• Organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly
• Capable of performing physical/technical labor without restrictions
• Positive attitude with team player mindset
• Valid Driver’s License
• Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm, Overtime available
• On Call Rotation

Hourly wage dependent on experience, very competitive.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $38.00 per hour
