Job Description

Pro AV Systems, Inc. is one of the top commercial audio visual system integrators in New England with headquarters in Chelmsford and site offices in Maine and Western Massachusetts. We are looking for low voltage installation and service technicians to install audio visual systems. Our primary business is design and installation of AV systems in the education and corporate markets. This is an ideal job for individuals with a strong background in construction and knowledge of pulling and terminating network or data wires.

JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for installing and testing display and audio systems consisting of projectors, flat panels, motorized screens, sound systems, and control systems in commercial and education facilities. Work as part of an installation team.

ABILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to carry, climb and work on ladders and/or lifts.
Work with hand and power tools, run wiring, mount projectors, speakers and flat panels.
Ability to follow directions and work with an installation team.
Complete a quality installation every time and be willing to learn
Present a positive, professional, and courteous image to our customers
Accurately complete essential paperwork
Must be reliable and on-time.

EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:
Ability to use hand tools (cordless drill eg.). In the higher level positions, experience in rack building, wire management, terminations and testing is required.

Be on time and able to work as part of a team
Looking for techs that desire to get a job done that can be team leaders.
Clean criminal background (must be able to pass CORI background check)

Many of our job require ability to perform Mass Prevailing Rate work.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate verbally in the English language
Knowledge of basic networks, low voltage terminations and wiring is a plus

COMPENSATION
Pay is commensurate with experience, and we are looking for mid-level technicians along with Lead Techs . Pro AV also does extensive work at Mass Prevailing Wage rates as we are a top provider of AV in the education market.
