Technicians are responsible for the service and installation of storefronts, shower enclosures, window/doors, mirrors and screens. As interactions with customers are common, outstanding customer service skills and a positive attitude are required. Technicians mostly travel up to but not limited to a 60-mile radius from Keene, NH. Technicians must be comfortable working safely and efficiently with a variety of hand, power, and trade specific tools, have the ability to lift, carry, and hoist up to 80-pounds, as well as be comfortable working on ladders and lifts. Safety is paramount, and this position requires a person who is safety conscience and holds, at minimum, an OSHA-10 card. Technician’s must also have the ability to on-site “problem solve” in situations where the work-order deviates from requirements needed to successfully complete the job. Technicians must also have a valid driver’s license, and have the ability to traverse jobsites as well as sit, stand, kneel, bend, reach, and climb for extended hours.
Position Requirements:
*Must possess a valid driver’s license, have and maintain a clean driving record, and be insurable.
*Must have basic mechanical / carpentry aptitude and the agility to learn new trade specific skills.
*Must have the ability to obtain and maintain OSHA-10, and lift certifications.
*Must be comfortable working with hand and power tools, as well as the manual dexterity to use safely and efficiently.
*Must be able to lift, carry, and hoist up to 80-pounds, traverse job sites, and be comfortable on ladders and lifts up to 30 feet.
*Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
*Must have a neat appearance and able to represent the company in a positive and professional manor.
*Must have basic measuring, arithmetic, verbal, and written communication skills.
*Must be comfortable and responsible working in both team and individual settings
*Must be able to work in all seasonal weather conditions and comfortable driving a van in inclement weather
*Must be able to work in occasional dusty, dirty and oily environments.
