Branch Service Representative provides centralized information and solutions services to assist branch employees with questions about processes and products. Serves as the point of contact to guide and assist branch staff with product information and operational policies. Being a Branch Service Representative responds to questions and resolve cases by researching bank procedures or regulatory governance and escalating issues internally as necessary. Completes call tracking and supporting documentation associated with each case. Additionally, Branch Service Representative may research and address inquiries regarding specific transactions. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Branch Service Representative works under moderate supervision.     Title: Branch Customer Service Representative

    Summary:

    In this role you will be responsible for providing premier service to members. Handling cash deposits, withdraws and issuing financial products to members as requested

    JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Establishes member relationships through quality service and cross selling to meet member needs.
    • Handles each transaction proficiently and accurately, exercising good judgment and seeking approval for any transaction exceeding assigned levels of authority
    • Performs paying and receiving functions with accurate balancing and reporting, including but not limited to deposits, check cashing, loan payments, miscellaneous sales, cash advances, etc.
    • Disburses cash accurately and maintains a cash drawer, balancing it daily
    • Verifies and balances assigned cash drawer daily with minimal cash variances. Assists in reconciling errors or discrepancies. Maintains adequate cash and/or cash limits as required.
    • Evaluates needs of existing and prospective members and makes daily referrals to appropriate team member.
    • Professional communication skills with business acumen are expected in order to effectively communicate through emails to business members and business prospects
    • Ensure the member’s needs are met by partnering with the appropriate specialist and/or teammate to serve the member’s banking, small business, mortgage, and investment needs.
    • Ability to build solid relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists by fostering teamwork, partnership and collaboration.
    • Demonstrates initiative, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to adapt to changing demands and requirements
    • Handles each transaction proficiently and accurately.
    • Partners with branch management team on all sales and service initiatives
    • Required notary certification. Must stay informed of all notary rules and regulations.
    • Comply with all published enterprise level policies and procedures.
    • Complete all required, ongoing enterprise level training.
    • Must develop and maintain a working knowledge of all applicable federal and state regulations including corporate policies and procedures.
    • Stay up to date on all required loan documents, systems, credit reports and related lending documents.
    • Other duties may be required and assigned by the supervisor.


    Requirements:

    Understanding of financial products and services with a focus on competitive business lending, products, and services.

    Comfortable navigating company software and computer.

    Professional and effective communication and public relations skills, cross-selling, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Sound judgment. Ability to handle difficult situations. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Professional demeanor; verbal and written.

    Bachelors Degree or Previous Industry experience.

    Previous Teller or Lead Banking experience is a plus!

    This job requires the ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.

    This job requires occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds and/or up to 30 pounds frequently.
