Being a Breast Center Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a director. The Breast Center Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. The Breast Health Center at Regions Hospital is seeking a Lab Service Tech. Our Breast Health Center performs diagnostic work, breast ultrasounds, and procedures which include biopsies and seed placements to help in the diagnosis of breast cancer or other breast health problems. This position provides front desk reception and clerical support, communicates with patients, family members, and providers, facilitates patient care and flow between different Regions departments and/or outside providers, processes laboratory tests and results assessments, documents patient care and ensures that the results are properly filed, operates multiple hospital computer systems, performs basic order entry, and assists physicians, nurses, and radiology technologists in the Radiology Department.

This is a non-union 1.0 FTE (40 hours per pay period) day shift position, working in Saint Paul, MN. The full salary range for this position is $18.16-$27.24 per hour, based on experience and internal equity. This position is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act, and is eligible for benefits.
