The Bursar typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Job Summary: | Job Summary: This position involves cashier and accounting functions. There are daily interactions with students concerning payment and/or questions concerning tuition and fees. Must keep and balance a cash drawer, perform accounting functions related to accounts receivable activities, process third party billing and daily deposits. Must maintain records, assist with student billing, daily summary, student refund process, and other duties as assigned.
