Astute Business Solutions is an Oracle Cloud partner and PeopleSoft, Oracle EBS, and Banner consulting firm based in Dublin, CA.  Astute is currently looking for an FTE for the following role:

Job Title: PeopleSoft System Application Administrator

Location: Washington, DC Baltimore area  (On-site two days a week and three days remote)

Type: C2C

Duration: 2-5 years

Salary: $95-$105 per hr

Job Summary:

Scope of Work

• Monitor and maintain all PeopleSoft-delivered architecture components.

•  Assist in capacity and resource planning of platform and infrastructure facilities.

• Provide best practice recommendations in software, hardware, and configuration changes to improve system performance.

• Issue review, troubleshooting, and resolution for all PeopleSoft components.

• Apply PeopleSoft application Patches, Bundles, and Maintenance

• Packs to Batch and Online objects.

• Patches and upgrades of PeopleTools 8.59, .60.

• Add/manage packages on PUM VMs.

• Monitor and maintain external/internal interface components.

• Analyze and complete all internal/external PeopleSoft object migrations.

• Ensure project development standards are adhered to by developers.

• Work with DBA and Server administrators as required.

• Assist developers and users as required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 5 years of extensive experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM, HCM, ELM, and Portal in a development or functional consultant role.

• 5   years’ expert experience in PeopleSoft tools 8.59 and later, Application

• Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, BI/XML Publisher, Integration

• Broker, PS Query reporting, Security configuration, AWE, CI, and Process Scheduler.

 Preferred Skills, Experience, and Capabilities

• 5 years of expert experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM, HCM, ELM, and Portal in a development or functional consultant role.

• 5 years of expert experience in PeopleSoft tools 8.59 and later, Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, SQR, BI/XML Publisher, Integration Broker, PS Query reporting, Security configuration, AWE, CI, and ProcessScheduler.
  
  Experience with the following:

• PeopleSoft upgrades and testing.

• PeopleSoft selective adoption process.

• Best practices of the data archive.

• PeopleSoft database administration.

• Oracle database administration.

• WebLogic administration.

• PeopleSoft troubleshooting and maintaining PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components, including Application Server, Web Server, and Process Scheduler.

• PeopleSoft Integration Broker

Expert-level knowledge of the following:

• SDLC methodology and processes.

• SQL

• Oracle 19C databases.

• REST-based web servers.

• Ability to provide expert customer service.
