Key Responsibilities:

• Gather business intelligence from various sources, including company data, industry reports, public information, and purchased sources, sharing insights to foster a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Assess market strategies by analyzing related products, markets, or trends.
• Take decisive action based on insights gathered, addressing challenges proactively and achieving goals with integrity and responsibility.
• Generate daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports with market trends past and present.
• Comfortable documenting processes and ensure continuity in data collection and analysis, maintaining transparency and integrity in all business operations.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry and business trends through communication with professional organizations, suppliers, customers, competitors, and other informed individuals.
• Design new data collection models to better collect information.
• Coordinate with IT and department heads to implement new models and BI solutions, embracing creativity and innovation to drive progress and stay ahead of the curve.
• Perform data profiling to identify anomalies.
• Summarize financial and economic data reports for review by executives, managers, and stakeholders.
• Develop protocol on how to best filter and variance.
• Develop and manage BI solutions.
• Analyze business processes and requirements.
• Identify development needs to improve and streamline operations.
• Seek self-improvement through mentoring and coaching from senior team members.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development, and ensuring operational success

Qualifications and Requirements

• College degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or similar field required. Advanced degree preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including SQL objects development, performance tuning, data analysis and integration.
• Knowledge of technologies such as C#, VSTO, SharePoint, SAS, Power BI, MEAN Stack is a plus.
• Knowledge of investment analytic tools such as FactSet, Bloomberg, etc.
• Ability to read code and support applications, reports, and processes.
