Being a Business Intelligence Director collaborates with other departments to identify and generate potential business intelligence initiatives, and ensures that business intelligence analysts have the tools, training, and understanding of the field to produce effective dashboards, reports, and metrics. Makes resource allocation and staffing decisions. Additionally, Business Intelligence Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Business Intelligence Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Business Intelligence Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. - Design data automation processes to streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis for maximum efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to unearth data-driven insights and identify opportunities for enhancing business practices
- Uphold and enhance data quality and integrity through routine audits and adoption of best practices
- Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor agency performance and offer valuable insights for informed decision-making
- Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations in business intelligence and data automation to advocate and implement best practices
Qualifications:- 7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or similar fields
- 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial capacity
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent
- Profound understanding of data automation tools and methods
- Prior experience in the advertising or marketing industry is advantageous
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical prowess with the ability to decipher complex data and drive data-centric decisions
