Business Process Systems Consultant jobs in Maryland

QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting a Business Process Analyst to join our team at Fort Meade, MD to support our USCYBERCOM J0/J1 contract.

Duties:

• Analyze the client integration office’s current operating environment and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify the strengths and weaknesses of existing processes, methods, and tools, and present findings and recommendations.
• Facilitate discussions with Leadership and warfighting architecture stakeholders to help refine the client’s definition of success and identify current frustrations.
• Design data collection plans, facilitate workshops, and communicate research and results using root cause analysis.
• Develop and research posting models to communicate discrepancies across divisional departments to help establish understanding and agreement from key stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience with using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Required Clearance:

• ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: TS/SCI; willingness to take a polygraph exam

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Five (5) years of experience in business process re-engineering.
• Two (2) years of experience with using process improvement methodologies.
• Two (2) years of experience in writing content for plans, reports, regulations, and SOPs.

Travel:

Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

Work Environment:

This position will be co-located with customers and other contractors in USCYBERCOM (also co-located with the National Security Agency (NSA)). This position is full-time on-site and does not allow for a regular hybrid or telework structure. Telework may be required due to exceptional circumstances (extreme weather, pandemic, etc.).

• Be independently mobile.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
• Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
