CAT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and answers patient questions. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures. Being a CAT Scan Technologist performs obstetric and gynecological scans, ultrasound techniques and examinations, abdominal scans, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, CAT Scan Technologist requires completion of radiologic technology training and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. CAT Scan Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. ChristianaCare's Hospital Imaging Department is currently recruiting for a WIP (Weekend Incentive Position) CT Technologist at our Newark Campus. The schedule for this position will be 3 out of 4 weekends, 12 hour shifts 1100-2300, this role will a be required to work every 3rd holiday. The successful candidate will support the team covering 2 holidays a year, and one weekend a month either on call or working in the facility.
