About Us:
We're Meowtel: the nation's #1 cat sitting app. We're on a mission to help cat lovers book trusted and insured cat sitters. Our sitters are true cat whisperers and we're looking for new cat whisperers to join our community.

We take cat sitting very seriously. So seriously in fact that we require all candidates to submit their listing for approval, pass a pre-screen questionnaire, a resume check, a background check, two to three reference checks, and complete a 20-minute video coaching call with a Meowtel sitting specialist prior to accepting reservations.

Requirements:
-Current resume and/or a current LinkedIn profile
-2-3 professional references
-Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Required skills to be successful:
- Crafting an engaging sitter listing to successfully promote your cat-sitting business
- Having experience administering medication to cats
- Having great time management skills and attention to detail
- Being an outstanding communicator
- Creating meaningful relationships with clients and with their cats!
- Fulfilling client expectations by:
a) Being receptive to feedback
b) Communicating promptly
c) Following their instructions

Tools to be an independent contractor with Meowtel:
-Smartphone with the Meowtel mobile app downloaded
-Vehicle or reliable form of transportation

Compensation:
- Sitters set their own rates. Rates average at $28 for 20-minute kitty visits

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
