The starting salary for a trooper is $72,014. Second-year total compensation increases to $83,113.57. Top pay for a Trooper I is $152,943.00. All recruits receive $1,175.00 every two weeks. Room and board provided while training.
There are several phases of our selection process, including the application process and the physical qualification test (PQT), which occurs just a few weeks after the May 1st, 2024, application closeout date.
