The Command Center position pays $21/hour to start.
Hours of work: Part-Time
Saturday- 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
Sunday- 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm-7am
Job Description:
The Command Center Operator will primarily be responsible for receiving non-emergency telephone calls, accessing and manipulating video surveillance, monitor CCTV and access control systems, utilize communications to coordinate responses to security and safety incidents. They will provide timely and accurate information to officers/guards who are on duty at the facility. Verify security related alarms; dispatch officers and guards to calls for service and provide situation updates to security staff for the duration of incidents. Additionally, they will generate incident reports for security and investigative purposes and act as a liaison between supervision/management and security personnel. Command Center personnel must have the ability to make clear decisions within parameters of established protocol and exercise calmness of action during highly stressful situations. Must maintain vigilance while monitoring security systems deployed at the facility ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and wellbeing of visitors, employees and the company assets. Communicate and interact in a positive and professional manner with all employees, customers, consultants and vendors across all platforms of communications. May also be assigned to Security Guard duties.

- Act as a liaison between supervision personnel and security personnel
- When needed, able to perform Security Guard duties
Requirements
As a Command Center Operator for Accomplished Security Inc., you will be responsible for securing and safeguarding our client’s employees and property. You are also required as an ASI Command Center Operator to know all command center policies and procedures, and monitor the command center activities for our client as appropriate. In addition, you are expected to provide our client with outstanding customer service QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Display exceptional customer service skills
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
- Possess effective written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with the general public and all levels of the client’s personnel in a polite, professional and effective manner
- Licensing requirements – Possess a valid Security Guard Card and be personally responsible to maintain its validity throughout your employment with ASI
- Be currently certified in CPR, use of an AED and Basic First Aid and be responsible to maintain its validity throughout your employment with ASI/AIS.
- As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- Possess or have access to a reliable means of transportation to work
- Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites. Ability to learn to operate the client’s security and safety systems which include but are not limited to access control systems, CCTV networks, and fire/security alarm systems.

- Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior
- Able to:
- Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs or ramps occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
