Card Room Shift Manager jobs in the United States

We are looking for an experience Assistant Dining Room Manager to oversee the daily operations of the dining room and ensure that members and guest have a positive dining experience.

• Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising dining room staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, food runners, bartenders, and valet parkers. Schedule shifts, assign duties, and provide guidance to ensure efficient service.
• Maintain a high level of member satisfaction by ensuring prompt and friendly service, addressing any member or guest concerns, and resolving issues that may arise during service.
• Coordinate the daily operations of the dining room, including managing reservations, organizing table setups, and ensuring proper table service etiquette.
• Manage inventory levels of dining room supplies, such as cutlery, glassware, and linens. Place orders as needed and maintain proper stock levels to support daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the dining room. Train staff on proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee special events, banquets, and private functions, working closely with the event planning team and ensuring seamless execution.
• Foster positive relationships with club members, getting to know their preferences and special requests. Actively engage with members, addressing feedback and suggestions to enhance their dining experience.
• Stay updated with industry trends and innovations in dining and hospitality. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  
   

• 2 years minimum experience as a supervisor or manager in an upscale restaurant, country club, resort or similar establishment.
• High school diploma or hospitality certification will be considered a plus.
• Experience with Jonas Encore/Micros or similar POS system
