Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Care Workers. As a Direct Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals, including seniors and those with disabilities or special needs
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Monitor and document changes in behavior or health status
- Implement behavior management techniques as needed
- Support individuals in maintaining their independence and promoting their rights
- Assist with medication management and administration
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Collaborate with case managers and healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals

Experience:
- Previous experience in direct care or a related field is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with senior care, dementia care, or case management is a plus
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations governing direct care services is beneficial
- First aid certification is desirable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
