Cashier / Customer Service Associate
We have locations in Crestview, Defuniak Springs, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Freeport, Mary Esther and Niceville.
We are looking for both full time and part time Cashier/Customer Service Associate's who enjoy working with the public. You must have a friendly, outgoing personality. As a team-oriented company, we seek an individual who can be flexible with work hours and is available to work day or night shifts, weekends and holidays if necessary.
Duties:
- Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change
- Operate registers, scanners and credit card/debit card terminals
- Memorize product locations throughout the store and be able to direct customers or make suggestions
- Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner
- Collect payments and bag purchases for customers
- Maintain accurate cash drawer
- Keep the checkout area clean and orderly
- Assist in merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping
- Communicate guest requests to management
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality is required
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage customer flow and prioritize tasks
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English to interact with customers and provide information about products or services
- Time management skills to ensure efficient handling of customer transactions and minimize wait times
- Basic technical sales knowledge to assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
- Keeping store clean by taking out trash, breaking down boxes, sweeping, mopping or other duties as needed.
