- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any client requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Assist and create menus for events, and plan events for company
- Previous experience as chef in restaurant or catering company required
- Knowledge of bartending techniques and mixology is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members

We are looking for a Chef to join the Caballeros Catering team!You will work with Chef/owner Erick Caballero to create menus, run events, manage servers at events, control costs of goods, cost of labor, and profitability of company.
Must be willing to learn and adapt, be comfortable working in challenging environment (catering is often working outside rain or shine). Our business is seasonal, with our busy season going from March to October, with a much quieter winter. We are closed the first 2 weeks of January, with limited events November through January.
Must have ability to get to events all over the Willamette Valley and NW Oregon on time. Open availability, weekends and evenings are a must.
1 week paid vacation per year included Salary starts at $47,000, quiet season is from November-February

He was born in Mexico and immigrated to the US when he was 9. Soon after which he began working in the fields as a farmer in Idaho alongside his family. He harvested, planted, managed livestock, etc. on the farm.He spent many formative years in the NW, learning the tools of his trade, honing his skills, and developing his own unique culinary style and taste. After stops with the Joel Palmer House and the Barlow Room he now proudly showcases his style ranging from traditional to modern while infusing Latin-inspired flavors and showcasing French techniques with Caballero's Catering.
