    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
    • Record daily transactions
    • Process accounts payable and receivable
    • Prepare deposits and reconcile company ledgers
    • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
    • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
    •  Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
    •  Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
    •  Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
    •  Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends and ensure compliance within the organization.
    • Other duties as assigned
     
    Requirements and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
    • 5 or more years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets and accounting software. QuickBooks preferred.
    • Superb attention to detail
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

    Physical Demands:

    • Regularly required to remain seated in a normal position for long periods of time
    • Regularly required to walk about
    • Regularly required to maintain balance while walking, standing, crouching, or running
    • Routinely required to reach up and out with hands and arms
    • constantly communicates with internal and external customers in person and via telephone. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
    • Regularly required to use hands to grasp objects, type, pick up objects, move objects, or hold objects
    • Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
    • Occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds and carry a distance of 10 feet
    • Occasionally required to push and/or pull up to 15 pounds a distance of 10 feet
    • Routinely required to stand for long periods of time
    • Constantly identifies and detects written information on equipment labels, written communication, forms and other labels/documents
    • Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as copy machine and calculator.
