Job Description:
Hybrid Preloader/Tank Truck Driver- $7,000 Sign On Bonus
** $29.00/hr**
Must have 2 years driving experience.
This Hybrid position would consist of

• preloading tank trailers at multiple loading facilities
• taking the tank trailers to the tank wash
• Delivering loads to locations local and regionally.
• Hybrid driver will be home every night.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
1. Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck/tank and prepare all reference same.
2. Keep truck clean on the inside and outside
3. Drives truck in a safe and professional manner at all times wearing a safety belt.
4. Transports chemical tankers filled with 4500-7000 gallons of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals along with being able to deal with effects of “surge” while driving, starting and stopping.
5. Transports ISO chassis units holding ISO tankers of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous chemicals.
6. Must be available to work up 70 hours per week (this may include, weekends and holidays).
7. Responsible for loading and transporting tankers to tank washes, loading and delivery facilities, climbing ladder on tanker to open & close dome lid on top of tanker, moving and connecting hoses & fittings and safely dropping loaded and empty tanks.
8. Must wear all Personal Protective Equipment when in the presence of chemicals and follow loading and delivery facilities procedures.
9. Assist with small repairs of truck and tanker, including the possibility of draining product out of tank in preparation for tank wash.
10. Able to prepare driver logs accurately and complete driver work orders via ELD and smart phone app.
11. Ensure placards on tankers agree with shippers Bills of Lading (Pertaining to Pre-Trip & Post-Trip).
12. Ability to effectively communicate with Logistics Team and customer facilities.
13. Employee will frequently be required to lift, carry, push and pull up to 75 lbs & must knee, squat, climb ladders and stairs.
