Chief Association Executive plans and directs all policies, objectives, and initiatives for an association, foundation, coalition, or other similar organization. Works with the Board of Directors to ensure all activities support the focus of the organization, including the development, promotion, and operations of the organization. Being a Chief Association Executive may serve as the spokesperson for and represent the association. May preside over board of directors/trustees. Additionally, Chief Association Executive may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a board of directors. Responsible for the development of functional or business unit strategy for the entire organization. Defines corporate vision and strategy establishes company direction and focus. The New Orleans JCC is a state-of-the-art fitness center and pool, a New Orleans early childhood education leader, a fun-filled summer day camp, and so much more. The Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer will contribute to the Vision, Mission, and Values of the New Orleans Jewish Community Center by supporting and managing the administrative needs of the Chief Executive Officer and the JCC executive team. Primary responsibilities will include handling critical and confidential details, interfacing with internal and external customers, and demonstrating considerable discretion, initiative, and leadership with standards of excellence.
