  • Executive Business Coach - Work From Home

Are you driven to achieve more in life?

Do you enjoy helping others to succeed in theirs?

Love coaching, but hate the admin of running your coaching company?

If you are self motivated, disciplined, have the drive and determination to succeed and are looking for a rewarding career coaching small business owners…then this may be the role for you.

Our fast-growing builder specific coaching company is searching for an Executive Business Coach to join our full-time work from home team.

Even if you're currently running your own small coaching company, we're open to buying you out to make the transition as seamless as possible!

Here's what is in it for you

    • Permanent full time work from home (our whole team is remote) with an immediate start.
    • All leads provided.
    • Generous base salary.
    • $536 monthly medical insurance contribution (enough to cover a policy for you without you paying a cent!)
    • 401(k) contributions.
    • 4 weeks paid time off every year (including 2 weeks over Christmas!).
    • Paid time off for 11 federal public holidays every year.
    • Paid sick leave.
    • Bonus commissions structure so you get rewarded for maintaining a high client base. (Six figure on target earnings!)
    • Detailed onboarding and training in order to set you up for success.
    • Join a growing company that is changing people's lives.
    • Join a company that has amazing culture and is Great Place To Work certified.
    • A fully systemised company (No need to reinvent the wheel, hit the ground running!)
    • Potential buy out of your exisiting small coaching company.

    Here's what is required

    • Proactively coach clients one on one to implement their business plan.
    • Inspire, motivate and encourage clients to execute.
    • Proactively reach out to every client throughout the month to ensure engagement.
    • Prepare and present proven templated sales presentations to upgrade existing members into mentoring clients.
    • Presenting APB coaching materials at events & conferences.
    • Constant learning and upskilling.
    • Prepare in advance for each coaching session, mastermind meeting, sales conversation and staff meeting.

You will be coaching and mentoring our private clients in systemization, financials, sales, marketing and advertising.

Everything is already proven and systemized, from the coaching protocol down to the APB sales process that converts more members into private coaching clients. You do not have to do a single cold call, you do not have to worry about generating your own leads and systemizing your own consulting business any longer. We’ve built a system that feeds qualified leads to you to convert to a private client and coach them for years.

Successful candidates will be personally mentored by APB’s Head Coach, Andy Skarda. So not only will you be helping more builders and business owners than ever before, you will also be growing your own knowledge in all aspects of a building company's business operations with particular focus on the financials, sales process and marketing operations.

We are a procedure driven company that requires all team members to follow our processes without exception or deviation and the ability to record detailed notes into the company CRM system will be vital to your own success.

To be successful in this role you must have

      • Owned and operated your own business for 5 years.
      • Experienced in business operations (i.e. you have hired and fired talent).
      • Strong financial knowledge and background.
      • Sound understanding of Google Apps (Sheets, Docs, Slides etc).
      • Excellent communication skills.
      • Ability to hold clients accountable and call out excuses.
      • Ability to inspire clients to think strategically.
      • Exposure to the residential construction industry is preferred.
      • Have a fast and secure internet connection.
      • Possess a good understanding of CRM.
      • Have the ability to work from home without distraction.
      • Exude confidence and enjoy talking over the phone.
      • Have the ability to follow clear procedures.
      • Be able to ask for the sale and overcome objections.

The ideal candidate will have a detailed history of successful businesses, coaching and consulting experience and strong financial literacy.

If you are organized, systemized, enjoy helping other people and are looking for the best career move you’ve made, then this is your opportunity to have the freedom of working remotely while making a difference in the residential construction industry and being recognized for your hard work.

      A little about APB

The Association of Professional Builders is a business coaching company for custom home builders. We provide on-demand training and systems via our membership and have a private coaching level where we work one on one with builders worldwide.

The work we do matters and every day we are changing lives. Our members are thriving (despite what you might have heard about the industry lately) which has allowed us to expand our operations even further.

We have a small team of 25 people (six of which are coaches) across three countries and we’re growing safely and securely every day. We’re proud to have recently earned our certification from Great Place To Work after an independent review of our team.

We value culture and attitude over everything else (just read some of our reviews) and we protect our team from anyone who doesn’t act according to our core values.

      Our core values

      • We never make assumptions, we ask more questions.
      • We always do the right thing, even when no one else is looking.
      • We celebrate the wins.
      • We don’t take things personally.
      • We make decisions and own the result.
      • We are impeccable with our word.
      • We trust but verify.

Please note: We'll be asking you about these values in your interview!

“[Rated 10/10] I am challenged daily and continue to grow both professionally and personally. I love being part of something that is geared for growth and to feel as though my contributions are part of APB's success.”
