Chief CAT Scan Technologist jobs in Oregon
Chief CAT Scan Technologist oversees computer-assisted tomography and the maintenance of department supplies, equipment, and facilities to ensure the quality of services. Introduces and teaches new techniques to staff. Being a Chief CAT Scan Technologist maintains environmental, infection control, and safety procedures for the department. Typically requires an associate's degree. Additionally, Chief CAT Scan Technologist requires completion of radiologic technology training and American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration. Typically reports to a director. The Chief CAT Scan Technologist manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Chief CAT Scan Technologist typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Peterson has an immediate need for an experienced Field Lube Technician at our Salem, OR location.
Job duties include the following:
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs on heavy equipment and components in the field.
- Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment including changing oil and filters, service greasing, and light mechanical work.
- Operate overhead cranes, hoists, power tools and other shop equipment in a safe manner.
- Complete service reports, time cards, and other related paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school (preferred)
- Three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience in preventative maintenance and service repair of heavy equipment and components and shop work is preferred.
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License minimum and valid DOT medical card.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
