    Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our organization's technology strategy and drive innovation and digital transformation for a multi-company enterprise consisting of defense and commercial companies.  The CIO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our information technology (IT) operations, including infrastructure, systems, applications, and security in a multi-member holding company structure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of emerging technologies and IT requirements for diversified industries, emerging cybersecurity requirements, strong leadership skills, and a track record of successfully delivering complex technology projects.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement the organization's technology strategy to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and enhance the customer experience.
    • Develop enterprise-wide architectures and policies that ensure an efficient segmented network solution that meets the needs of both commercial and defense companies.
    • Develop strategy for the implementation of data analytic tools, policies, and applications throughout the enterprise.
    • Set overall direction for Technology through strategic planning and evaluation
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key technology vendors and service providers.
    • Identify opportunities for leveraging technology to improve business processes and drive growth.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of technology projects, including managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • Oversee all aspects of the member companies’ IT operations, including infrastructure, systems, applications, and security.
    • Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of all technology systems and applications.
    • Establish and Manage the IT budget, including forecasting, planning, and tracking expenditures.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and security standards.
    • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
    • Evaluate overall enterprise IT operations

     

     

    Job Requirements

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 20 years of experience in IT leadership roles, including at least 5 years in a CIO or similar position.
    • Proven track record of delivering complex technology projects on time and within budget.
    • Deep knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements
    • Deep knowledge of emerging technologies, including cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
    • Experience in writing and enforcing IT policies
    • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead high-achieving, cross functional teams
    • Experience in a regulated industry is a plus.
