Forty Carrots Family Center seeks a highly driven, experienced, personable, and forward-thinking leader to serve as Chief Development Officer (CDO). The CDO is an executive level position responsible to oversee the organization’s development and fundraising initiatives. The CDO will advance Forty Carrots Family Center by cultivating new and supporting ongoing relationships within the local and surrounding communities; soliciting donations on behalf of the organization; directing efforts related to capital campaigns, the annual appeal, and other specific fundraising projects; providing day-to-day leadership for development, marketing and communications staff; and collaborating on innovative strategies for continual improvement. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of relevant experience in fundraising, development, or non-profit administration. Extensive knowledge of fundraising strategies and principles, excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills are required. The anticipated hiring range is $115,000 - $140,000/yr.
