Role Overview
Hale Kipa is seeking a Chief Program Officer to provide oversight and management of our Prevention & Outreach, Shelter & Residential, and 'Ohana Resilience Services programs, functioning as part of and collaborating with the Executive Leadership Team, adding capacity to the overall skill and knowledge base already present with the current team. Must live the agency's core values and culture as it promotes the mission and vision.
Oversight of the programs includes the provision of strong leadership and supervision of the Hale Kipa Directors. Provide training, staff development opportunities, and guidance and support to enhance their program management skill and abilities. Promote and support continuous quality improvement throughout the agency. Be creative and possess experience and knowledge about program models and have the ability to innovate and evolve them as they align with the changing needs of the environment. Interface effectively with funders, particularly program monitors and referral sources and be an appropriate representative of the community. Be a surveyor of the community at a local and national level for grant and resource opportunities; and be an active grant writer and participant in the grant writing process.
