Job Summary:
As the Chief Operating Officer, you are responsible for leading our home care company, encompassing three divisions specializing in senior and child care, to success. As the COO, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services to our clients. Serving as the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) champion, you will report directly to the Integrator, and collaborate closely with executive and senior leadership to achieve organizational goals and uphold our commitment to excellence in care.

Essential Functions:
- Exhibit a strong sense of understanding and actively embodies the Mission, Vision and Core Values of Kennedy Care through consistent behaviors, practices, and decision-making.
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable teams responsible for service delivery and execution of the business plan (V/TO) including, but not limited to, human resources, finance, information technology (IT), sales and marketing, and operations.
- Adapt and integrate the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), confirming consistent adherence.
- Establish clear performance metrics and hold individuals and teams accountable for their responsibilities, ensuring that everyone delivers on their commitments.
- Identify, document, and implement Core Process, ensuring they are followed by all.
- Effectively collaborate and communicate with senior leadership to ensure everyone stays on the same page.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Provide oversight and guidance to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Oversee financial management across all three companies including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring financial stability and profitability.
- Identify and mitigate risks that may impact the success or stability of the companies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Facilitate communication between companies and shared support functions ensuring transparency, and accountability.
- Develop and implement contingency plans to address any crisis or unforeseen circumstances that may arise within the companies, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruption.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and alliances that can enhance the companies’ competitive position, market reach, and innovation capabilities.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, seeking opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Attract, hire, and develop top talent within the organization, building high-performing teams that are capable of executing the company's strategy.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and leverage technology solutions to enhance service delivery, streamline processes, and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or evidence of equivalency in career experience;
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in leadership role;
- Proven track record of success in driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and optimizing processes within complex organizations;
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a strategic mindset and a results-driven approach;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and implement solutions;
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology platforms for operations management, project management, and data analysis;
- Effective time management skills to balance the demands of remote work, travel, and managing multiple priorities simultaneously;
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary for business needs;
- Willingness to undergo background checks and provide personal references;
- Access to a quiet, remote workspace that offers stable, high-speed internet access, free from distractions, at the employee’s expense, enabling effective job performance;
Physical and Mental Requirements and Working Conditions:
- The role involves predominantly sedentary work, requiring long hours of sitting, either at a desk or during travel.
- Ability to move freely within an office environment, including walking, standing, and navigating between different workspaces.
- Proficient manual dexterity is necessary for using computers, electronic devices, and other office equipment essential for the role.
- While not a primary aspect of the role, occasional lifting and carrying of light objects (25 pounds) may be required during travel or assigned tasks.
- Must possess strong mental agility and resilience to handle high-pressure situations, make critical decisions, and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
