Undergraduate Enrollment Management Specialist

  • The Undergraduate Enrollment Management Specialist is a detail-oriented professional tasked with collaborating with colleagues and using technology tools to manage data and a broad range of ongoing activities and projects to support student recruitment. The position also communicates with and recruits prospective students within an assigned territory in order to achieve individual and departmental enrollment goals.

    Essential Duties Summary
    • Prepare accurate and timely weekly admission inquiry and application reports using Excel spreadsheets and other technology tools;
    • Track, analyze and report recruitment and enrollment data for a variety of platforms including the institutional CRM system’
    • Work with the Campus Events Department to coordinate and manage on-campus admission events and group visits including developing the registration process and coordinating the participation of admission counselors, faculty and staff;
    • Maintain databases of high school counselors, community college advisors and teachers and collaborate with colleagues to execute communications to these and other constituents;
    • Work with the NEC marketing department and key vendors to plan and produce print publications and mailing campaigns;
    • Achieve enrollment goals within an assigned territory by communicating with prospective students and parents on a regular basis via telephone, email, social media, personal meetings, and written correspondence;
    • Use the College’s CRM tools to communicate with students and log interactions;
    • Deliver small and large group presentations to persuade students to enroll at New England College;
    • Travel to high schools and recruitment fairs to meet with prospective students, parents, and school counselors;
    • Manage special projects, as assigned.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree required
    • 2-4 years experience in the Admission profession and/or related positions with increasing levels of responsibility
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • High-energy disposition, goal-oriented work style, strong customer service orientation
    • Ability to travel extensively
    • Valid driver’s license

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Proficiency with Excel and other MS Office tools
    • Experience in gaining proficiency with new technology tools
