A hospital dedicated to mental and behavioral health is actively seeking a Chief Nursing Officer to lead their team. This is a full-time, permanent position working for a nationally recognized healthcare organization. 

The Chief Nursing Officer will work for a specialized institution devoted to the treatment of mental health conditions and behavioral disorders across the country. The Chief Nursing Officer will oversee a 100 bed facility that prioritizes the well-being of individuals facing challenges related to their mental health, offering a range of therapeutic services and compassionate care to patients throughout Massachusetts. With a focus on providing a supportive environment, the facility employs a dedicated team of professionals, including psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses, who collaborate to address the unique needs of each patient. The Chief Nursing Officer will lead the nursing team of Nurse Directors, Managers, and specialized staff across both inpatient and outpatient services provided to an adult, adolescent, pediatric, and geriatric population. Responsibilities of the Chief Nursing Officer include ensuring regulatory compliance, updating policy procedures, managing the budgets, and most importantly–providing support to the staff, patients, and their families. 

Because the CNO will be working at a specialized mental and behavioral health facility, the Chief Nursing Officer must be a registered nurse holding an active RN license, along with previous leadership experience within an inpatient or outpatient mental or behavioral healthcare setting.
